As part of RAFT’s extensive portfolio of services, we are able to offer numerous tower based activities. These include the supply of radio masts/towers, the erection, decommissioning and dismantlement of such, together with tower strengthening and tower maintenance surveys. During the Summer RAFT completed the tower strengthening of the Becton Radar Tower. The work involved removing and strengthening platforms and bracings, replacing existing platforms and bracings, replacing bracing plates, re-fixing feeders, bolt checks, maintenance of existing paintwork on the structure, and the provision of drawings. Our riggers endured some challenging weather conditions, and the end result was a job well done.
